Bulk Trash Pickup Police en Espanol

Estimados residentes de Shady Grove Village Condominium:

En un esfuerzo para reducir la cantidad de basura y escombros no recogidos de las areas comunes en su comunidad y en las areas publicas, la ciudad esta proveendo un resumen del programa para recoger articulos de bulto.

Informacion general:

El tiempo planificado para el recojo de bulto es a las 7 a.m.el primer Miercoles de cada mes. Si el dia planificado cae en un feriado, el recojo de bulto ocurrira en el mismo dia de la semana siguiente. Personas que pongan articulos afuera a cualquier otro tiempo estaran en violacion del Capitulo 18-4 del Codigo de la Ciudad y seran sujetos a una multa de $500.00.

Reglas:

• Los articulos deberan ser separados de la basura de casa y deberan ser colocados atras de la acera, fuera del alcance de postes, autos, arboles y otras obstrucciones.
• Los articulos se deben marcar claramente “ Bulk Pick up” y ser colocados afuera no mas de 24 horas antes del dia de recogo de bulto.
  

Articulos Acceptables:

• Muebles, colchones, electrodomesticos, bicicletas, y otros articulos grandes que las companias de basura no recolecten.
• Cajas de carton pueden ser utilizadas como contenedores para guardar articulos, de otra manera deberan ser cortadas en piezas no mas grandes de dos pies por tres pies y ser puestas afuera con el recycling.
  

Articulos Inaceptables:

• Basura de casa, articulos puestos en bolsas de plastico, contenedores que no esten marcados, y basura de construccion.
• Llantas, aceite, pintura, gasoline, baterias de carro, y articulos/materiales peligrosos o explosivos.

Bulk Trash Pickup Policy

In an effort to alleviate trash and debris left uncollected in the common area of your communities and the City’s right-of-ways, the City of Gaithersburg provides this brief synopsis of the bulk pick up program.

General Information:

The scheduled collection time is 7:00 a.m. on the first Wednesday of the month. In the event the scheduled collection falls on a holiday, the pickup will be rescheduled on the same weekday the following week. Items placed out at any other time would be a violation of Chapter 18-4 of the City Code and subject to a $500.00 fine.

Guidelines:

• Items must be clearly marked “Bulk Pick Up” and placed out not more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup.
• Items must be separated from household trash, placed behind the curb, clear of utility poles, cars, trees, and other obstructions.
  

Acceptable Items:

• Furniture, box springs, mattresses, appliances, bicycles, and other large items which private refuge companies will not accept.
• Cardboard boxes may be used as containers to place bulk items in, otherwise cardboard boxes should be broken down into pieces no larger than two by three feet and placed out for recycling collection.
  

Unacceptable Items:

• Household trash, items placed in plastic bags, unmarked containers, and contractor’s debris.
• Tires, oil, paint, gasoline, car batteries, and other explosive or hazardous material.
